Engel & Völkers Florida invited all license partners and managing brokers to gather at the Ritz Carlton Naples Beach, on Friday September 30, 2016 for its annual 2016 Leadership Summit.
The annual Leadership Summit is an opportunity for all license partners to gather for an entire day. The event focuses primarily on business development, being informed on the latest support, tools and administration to best serve their businesses. It also provides all license partners and their leadership teams the opportunity to network up close and personal with their fellow partners from around Florida.
The event opened with presentations by the management team of Engel & Völkers Florida, Managing Partner Timo Khammash, and Senior Vice President of Regional Brokerage Services and Brand Advancement Vicki Antonio. Beginning with an update of shop expansion, welcoming the (5) five newest shops to the network – Bonita Springs, Madeira Beach, Melbourne, Destin, and Delray Beach. Followed by a report of the latest media and public relations stories that have reached 200,000+ impressions throughout the Florida region and the United States to date.
In addition, guest presenters Senior Vice President of Brokerage Services, Peter Ianos and Senior Vice President of Brand Advancement, Jill Desilva from Engel & Völkers USA were on hand to give an update on the recently launched website, its listing syndication program, the newly developed Online Academy and gave a live demonstration on the latest of impressive marketing material.
Each year there is an emphasis placed on a specific area of the business. This year’s topic was Recruiting of the “ideal” E&V advisor.
We invited guest speakers and fellow Engel & Völkers License Partners Dougan Jones and “Private Office” Advisor, License Partner Paul Benson to share on the subject. They have an impressive resume of shop development. They have accomplished the opening of their headquarters in Park City, Utah. Additional shops in San Francisco, Newport Beach, Zephyr Cove, Truckee, Saint George, Wasatch, Eden and Laguna Beach, with over 200 Advisors all since 2014. Both Paul and Dougan spoke about mindset and how belief in the brand is necessary for success and successfully recruiting top advisors. The attendees were given a little believe assignment ad scripts to use as they go back to their individual cities as Engel & Völkers brand ambassadors.
The day ended with a group photo and the entire group continued the evening with a lovely steak and seafood dinner overlooking the Gulf of Mexico from the beautiful oceanfront Beach house watching the sunset.
Larry Daniel of Special Olympics presented giving, donating and volunteerism opportunities that are in line with the Engel & Völkers National relationship, as well as how regional fundraising events are available.
